This sweet C2C preemie blanket features a classic plaid design created with corner-to-corner crochet. #4 worsted – Premier Anti Pilling Everyday Worsted: 180 yds/165m/3.5 oz/100g
“Quiet Blue” – @110 yds
“Twilight Blue” – @110 yds
“Aran” – @105 yds
US J Hook (6mm) Or size needed to obtain gauge
Tapestry needle
Gauge:
5 x 5 blocks = 4”

Abbreviation Used: US Terms
ch = chain
dc = double crochet
hdc = half double crochet
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch
st(s) = stitch(es)
Notes:
- This project is worked in standard corner to corner (C2C) crochet and worked from bottom right corner to top left corner.
- Pattern includes chart, written text instructions, and border instructions.
- You will increase to 20 blocks (bumps), then decrease to form a square.
- Color changes happen at the last yarn over, except decreases which happen after you sl st in first 3 dc.
- Turn your work at the end of each row.
- For starting and increasing blocks, Ch 6, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 2 ch.
- For middle blocks, sl st in ch-3 sp, ch 3, 3 dc in ch-3 sp.
- For decreases, sl st in the first 3 dc, sl st in the ch-3 sp, ch 3, 3 dc in the ch-3 sp.
