Yarn Used For the Color Block Crochet Scarf
I opted to work from my stash for this color block crochet scarf. Sitting on the shelf, just waiting for inspiration were four skeins of “Skein Tones” from Lion Brand. I thought, “Why not use them up with a color block scarf using different textures for the blocks.” The different tones go so well together.

Special Stitches:
HBhdc {herringbone hdc} = yo, insert hook in st, yo, pull through st and first loop on hook, yo, pull through remaining 2 loops.
Ps {pineapple cluster stitch} = *yo, insert hook in st, yo, pull through* Rep between * 3 times, yo, pull through the first 8 loops on your hook, yo, pull through the 2 remaining loops on hook. Make sure you keep loops loose so you can pull through 8 easily.
Notes:
- Ch 3 and dc in final stitch in the Twin V section will not count as stiches.
- Ch 3 in the Ps stitch counts as a stitch.
- No sew as you will slip stitch seam the two short ends together.
Helpful Hints When Making Your Color Block Crochet Scarf:
- Each color block section measures @ 7”. Add or remove sections to make the scarf longer or shorter.
- Play around with yarn colors to make the perfect fall or winter scarf.
- How I arranged the sections and colors: Almond Block-HBhdc, Honey Block-Twin V, Peachy Block-HBhdc, Truffle Block-Ps. I then repeated this pattern again.
