This cowl crochet pattern is made with Red Heart Unforgettable in “Polo” which has a beautiful, self striping jewel-tone appearance. Autumn Jewels Cowl is the perfect accessory for the fall fashionista.
Texture and color. It has all the colors of fall. Who could ask for more? How about seamless. This cowl is made in the round therefore no sewing involved. Yay! I think we all love a little less sewing and a lot more crocheting.

Medium #4 Red Heart Unforgettable in “Polo”
Supplies Needed:
US H (5 mm) hook or size needed to obtain gauge
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge:
6 sts X 9 rows=4”
Size of Cowl:
24” circumference
12” tall
Special Stitch Used in this cowl crochet pattern:
Hdcl{half double cluster} (yo, insert hook, pull loop through) 4 times in same place, yo, pull through all loops on hook, ch 1 to close cluster.

Cowl Crochet Pattern
Rnd 1: ch 104, join with sl st in 1st ch to make a circle{be careful not to twist your chain} ch 3, *sk 2 chs, Hdcl in next ch, sk 2 ch, (dc, ch 2, dc) in next ch* rep between * around, ending with a Hdcl, sk 2 chs, sl st in top of ch 3.
Rnd 2: ch 3, *Hdcl in next ch-2 sp, sk next dc, (dc, ch 2, dc) in top of cluster* rep between * around, sl st in top of ch 3
Rnd 3: ch 3,* (dc, ch 2, dc) in top of next cluster, hdcl in next ch-2 sp,* rep between * around, sl st as before
Rnd 4: ch 3, *Hdcl in next ch-2 sp, (dc, ch 2, dc) in top of next cluster,* rep between * around, sl st as before
Rnds 5-27: Rep rows 3-4 alternately, ending on a row 3

Care Instructions:
Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry.
