This square features in Granny Stitch Sampler Blanket CAL

The Herringbone Granny Square is one of 12 squares featured in Granny Stitch Sampler Blanket CAL hosted by MadameStitch. Each square will have an element of the granny stitch. While most of the squares in this event are worked from the middle out, I decided to step outside the box and create mine with rows. I love the herringbone stitch and the slight slant it gives. I paired it with the granny stitch to make two unique textures in one square.

A gray crochet blanket square lays on a white table. Yellow daisies and unicorn scissors are nearby.

Each square in this CAL will be free on each designer’s blog. Squares release every Mon, Wed, and Fri, with border pattern releasing on Oct. 30. There will be round up of all the squares on the main event page along with the joining and border instructions. Use the link below to head there to find each square.

Once the CAL is over the price will increase. So don’t wait!
