This crochet infinity scarf is a quick and easy stitch repeat. You can whip up several in different colors(self striping yarn works very well for this). The perfect project to add to your handmade wardrobe.
This pattern got it’s name, Myrtle Sunrise in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. My husband and I just recently spent our tenth anniversary there in a condo on the beach. The yarn I used I had found in a yarn shop on another trip we had made. I designed the scarf while sitting on the balcony looking out over the ocean. The colors reminded me of the sunrise we watched in the mornings while we were there.

Supplies needed for this crochet infinity scarf
DK #3 approx. 250-280 yds
Furls US H hook (5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
Yarn I used:
On a weekend trip to visit my sister in Indiana, I found a small yarn shop. There I found this gorgeous yarn called Pendenza from Plymouth Yarn. It’s 100% Egyptian Cotton. I loved the colors, and it wasn’t until my anniversary trip I knew what I would name the pattern made from it.
Gauge: 16 hdc=4” 8 rows=4”
Skill Level: Advanced beginner +
Size: 24” diameter 8” width

Special Stitches Used
To give this scarf some interesting texture, I used V stitch and popcorn stitch. The pattern repeat worked well with the self-striping yarn.
