Helpful Hints for making this free crochet beanie:

Use a stitch marker to mark where the last hdc stitch is so you know where the brim starts and move it each row.

If you would rather not weave in all the color change ends, do not fasten off but carry each color up the top of the hat. Once you cinch up the top of the hat, they will be hidden on inside.

If the hat for yourself or family member that lives with you, once your rows are complete, and before you seam it, wrap it around your head or theirs to make sure the fit is good. If it’s too tight, add rows. If it’s too loose, remove rows. But remember, you want a snug fit.

Thank you for this beanie pattern. The colours you chose are really striking.
After reading the pattern I said ‘I can make this’ so this hat will be my year end gift to me. 🙂 Thank you for all the effort you put into this After Christmas Party. It was fun, but a lot of work on your part. I hope that you get some time to rest and relax in the New Year.
