Love the pattern, thank you for making it free. In the stitch abbreviations, there appears to be a typo. The abbreviation is FLO, but the explanation for that is Back Loop Only. I’m not sure whter it is FLO (front loop only) or BLO (Back Loop OnlY). Thanks for having a look at this.

      Hi Alison

Yes, I apologize there is a typo in the free PDF. You will be working in the middle loop of the 3 loops of the hdc. I believe in the round this would be considered the back loop. I’m so happy you love the cowl.

    What is a sedge?
    Gauge:
    8 hdc x 6 rows = 2”
    6 sedge st x 12 rows = 4”

      Hi Eva,
The Sedge st has the sc, hdc, and dc all in one stitch. So in the gauge 6 Sedge sts would equal 18 sts. Hope that helps. Let me know if I can help you further.
