Crochet Beanie For Charity Features in 2025 Crochet Cancer Challenge

Created for the 2025 Crochet Cancer Challenge hosted by Sweet Potato 3, this design features three distinct textures that come together to create a hat full of visual interest, cozy warmth, and timeless beauty.
To see all of this year’s hats, use the button below to head to main blog post. There you will be able to go to each designer’s post to read their inspirations for their designs. Many designers still have their hats available for download through the end of the month.
This year’s crochet beanie for charity was made with a hand-dyed yarn in shades of pink and teal, colors that have been patiently waiting for their moment to shine. They come together in honor of all the brave women whose lives have been touched by breast cancer, and in loving tribute to my sister, a survivor of ovarian cancer.
Each stitch carries a message: that even in the hardest battles, there’s always a glimmer of hope—and it’s something we should never let go of.

Do you love this stitch pattern? Does it look familiar? It can also be found in my Sweet Petite Preemie Beanie made for the Preemie Crochet Challenge in September.
