Multiples-Jacob’s Ladder Crochet Tutorial
For Jacob’s Ladder crochet a chain in multiples of 5 then add 2 chains.

Chain your desired amount of 5 + 2 for your project. For this tutorial, I’m using 25 + 2 for 27 stitches.

Jacob’s Ladder Crochet Tutorial
Row 1: (RS) ch 27, dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across, turn [25 dc]
Row 2: ch 1, sc in each st across, turn [25 sc]
Row 3: (WS) ch 3, dc in next 3 sts, *JL in next st, dc in next 4 sts; rep from * across, until final JL loop, dc in last 5 sts, turn [25 dc, 4 loops]
Row 4: ch 1, sc in each st across, pushing the loop to the RS of your work, turn [25 sc] See video below
Rows 5-10: Repeat rows 3-4 or repeat Rows 3-4 for your desired project
Row 11: {You will not work a JL in this row} ch 3, dc in each st across, turn [25 dc]
Interlock all your Jacob’s Ladder loops, all but the last one. You will secure this loop in the next row. Think of it as making chains with your loops. See video below.
Row 12: ch 1, work a sc in each st across, when you come to the JL loop, insert hook in stitch and loop to secure the final loop, turn [25 sc]
Row 13: ch 3, dc in each st across, fasten off [25 dc]
