#6 Bulky- Red, Snow, Denim – I used Premier Anti-Pilling Everyday Bulky {87 yds/80 m/3.5 oz/100 g}
Basket bottom: 45 yds
Red: 35 yds
Snow: 35 yds
Denim: 30 yds
US K Hook (6.5 mm)
Tapestry needle for weaving ends

13-1″ Plastic or Sew on Button Stars {optional}

Notes
- This basket is worked continuously. Do not join rounds. Use a stitch marker in beginning stitch of each round.
- For the stars, I used 1″ plastic ones and glued them on. Alternatives are star buttons to sew on or embroider stars on.
- If you don’t know the magic ring, use your chosen method for starting a circle

Base of basket:
Rnd 1: With chosen color, using a MR, 12 dc in ring, pull to close [12]
Rnds 2-7 are worked in the BLO.
Rnd 2: Inc in each st around, sl st in beg st [24]
Rnd 3: *dc in next st, Inc in next st; rep from * around [36]
Rnd 4: *Inc in next st, dc in next 2 sts; rep from * around [48]
Rnd 5: *dc in next 3 sts, Inc in next st; rep from * around [60]
Rnd 6: *Inc in next st, dc in next 4 sts; rep from * around [72]
Rnd 7: With Color A, working in *hdc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * around
Now working through both loops.
Rnd 8: With Color B, *sc in next st, hdc in next st, rep from * around
Rnds 9: With Color A, *hdc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * around
Rnds 10-19: Rep Rows 8-9 alternately
Rnd 20: With Color C, hdc in each st around
Rnd 21: dc in 1st st, hdc in next st, sc in next st, *hdc in next st, dc in next 3 sts, hdc in next st, sc in next st; rep from * 11x, hdc in next st, dc in last 2 sts [72]

Fasten off. Weave in the ends.
Add your chosen stars around the blue stripe.
