Preemie Crochet Baby Hat feature in Preemie Crochet Challenge 2024

For the past five years, my good friend Helen, designer behind Sunflower Cottage Crochet has run the Preemie Crochet Challenge. She invites other crochet designers to participate in this wonderful event. Each person designs a crochet pattern perfect to donate to a NICU or other charities for preemie babies and their families. These babies and moms/dads spend countless hours at the hospital. These generous designers offer their pattern for free to makers, who then pledge to make at least one of these items for charity in return for the free download. Donations of blankets, hats, bonding squares and more bring these families comfort in sometimes difficult times.

This is my 3rd year participating in this event. I have many great blessings in my life, and it brings me great joy to be able to give back. I hope you will enjoy making my Amberly Preemie Baby Hat.
