Tutorial for the Treble X Crochet Stitch

Row 1: Fsc your desired length using the multiple of 3+2, turn. For this swatch, I’m using Fsc 26. [26]

Or Row 1: If working from a foundation chain use 3+2, plus 1. For this swatch you would chain 27. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and all the way across ch 1, sc in each st across, turn [26]

Row 2: ch 4 {counts as a tr}, do not work in the st directly below the ch 4, *TrX over the next 3 sts; rep from * until 1 st remains, tr in the last st, turn [8 TrX, 2 tr]

Row 3: ch 1, sc in each st and ch-1 sp across, turn [26]

Rows 4-: Rep Rows 2-3 { until you reach your desired measurement}.

The Morning Glow Wrap CAL uses the Treble X Stitch and is running from June 3-17, 2024. After the CAL is over, this wrap will be forever free on my blog.

The hand-dyed yarn used in this tutorial is from indie yarn dyer High Desert Yarn. All of her yarn is inspired by the colors found in nature. It’s not only gorgeous, but soft to the touch and a pleasure to work with.
